The Morris & Co. studio carefully evolved the original artwork into a complete all-over repeat, honouring Morris’s intent while finishing the composition. Where Morris had marked out stitches for embroidery, the design team retained this delicate linework, preserving the charm and honesty of the original drawing. Unique and authentic, just like Morris.
